Welcome to the world of records management. When thinking about records management it is easy to think “this is going to be boring” or “why would anyone be interested in what happens to records once we have finished with them?”

Have you heard of the Public Records Act for New Zealand and did you know what year it was adopted? Did you know that as of July Archives New Zealand have officially released a new records management standard for the public sector or even that there was a standard? If not, then this resource is written just for you. If you have heard of all of the above but would like a refresher the material in this resource may be helpful also.
